You are paid for your results, not your methods. I still find it mysterious why this is so, but maybe Apple will hire Google's Gboard guy to improve iOS native keyboard like they hired Google's top AI guy to improve Siri. Sadly, and just like with the Siri situation, Apple simply is not performing to expectations and has allowed competitors to overtake them, though the native iOS keyboard is adequate for most users. Obviously, Apple should be absolutely dominant with their native keyboard in terms of features and performance. I don't see anything that Swiftkey is doing better than Gboard right now, except maybe theme options. I can't blame anyone for not trusting Google, but based solely on features and performance, it gets my vote. Microsoft SwiftKey is always learning and adapting to match your unique way of typing - including your slang, nicknames and emojis. Great features, silky smooth, blazing fast to launch-it's just hard to beat right now. iPad Microsoft SwiftKey is the intelligent keyboard that learns your writing style, so you can type faster. Gboard has just been fantastic since the latest update. I'm especially interested in third party keyboards and am in the Swiftkey Insider program and Nintype beta program and have used a bunch of other third-party keyboards for iOS (Minuum, Wordflow, many others). ![]() ![]() Gboard is my current favorite keyboard performance-wise for iOS.
